I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
I applied online in Oct. Got invited to the phone screening within a week, then the phone round and online onsite in Nov. Final round wasn't generally hard all things considered - LC Meta tagged sounds sufficient imo. But optimization on code does require some thinking on the spot; luckily interviewer was very helpful. To get practice I did quite a few mock interviews on Prepfully they were running a good deal for students, coding mocks for $50. Overall a very positive experience :)
The process was pretty straightforward. It started with an online assessment, followed by a phone screen, and concluded with a final interview round that had two LeetCode medium difficulty problems.
straightforward - just 2x medium leetcode tagged in 45 minutes very fast paced though so be aware of time. few follow up questions for interviewer at the end. no behavioral questions.
just one round with 2 lc hards in 45 min. it wasnt too bad at all and honestly if you've done a lot of lc you're gonna be fine just go fast and make sure to check off ur approach with ur interviewer before u begin implementing
