      Graduate Marketing Analyst Interview

      5 Dec 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Merkle (London, England) in Jul 2017

      Interview

Welcome Briefing; A presentation from you lasting 5 minutes; a very simple group task in which I suppose they will analyse how you fit in a team, what type of role you adopt, your communication skills, etc,; an individual Logic Test with some simple math questions, and then other coding questions (any basic/ fundamental knowledge of Phyton/R should be sufficient to answer to these!); A very elucidating presentation about Merkle and the role followed by brief individual interviews. Everything happened quite fast, it seemed rushed, and they didn't get the time to deeply get to know any of the candidates. Seems to me they are just trying to hire in bulk.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

A presentation from you of 5 minutes answering: If you could meet anyone who would it be and why? One thing that is on your bucket list is...? A role related question which will be given on the day.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased to hear that your whole process was quick. We spread our graduate hiring out across the whole year, so unlike many large organisations we have a fairly open window for online applications and roles to fill.
