We extended an offer £8,000 above your current earnings, which you declined with a very abrupt "no" before the full details could be discussed.
Following this, we decided not to increase the offer further, as the proposed salary was not aligned with your level of experience (2 years). Additionally, your response to the verbal offer raised concerns about how you might handle negotiations with clients. It’s also worth noting that requests for funding unrelated to the role, such as the upkeep of your horse, are not appropriate for salary discussions.
Whilst we appreciate your follow-up message and effort to re-engage upon learning about the bonus potential, we ultimately decided not to proceed further (we did not revoke the offer as you declined it). However, we value all feedback and wish you the very best in your future endeavours.
