I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer in Jan 2015
Interview
After completing resume drop following meeting with a campus representative, I completed one on campus interview with a panel of three current Mercer employees. It was fairly straight forward and was structured more as a conversation than anything else. Later, I completed two on site interviews. All three interviews included a "walk me through your resume" portion and the second two included a short case exercise.

Walk me through your resume, discuss your course of study and how it will be applicable to the position, a short case interview question
I applied online. I interviewed at Mercer (London, England)
Interview
The interview had a group component, a client-facing component, an individual interview and a written task. The interviewers were all very friendly and the tasks were interesting.
The only con was the fact that the process lasted from early morning till about 1 pm without a break or lunch. This meant that many of us were tired and hungry in the last activity.

Interview
First there was a short screening call with a principal. Heard back a couple weeks later about being brought into the office for a super day. Long day with many behavioral interviews as well as case and technicals. Probably met with at least 7 different people. Overall, smooth process with very nice and warm people. There was a delay in response hearing back.

Interview
Dropped my resume through college recruiting. Received an on campus interview, followed by 2 phone interviews and a superday of 6 interviews at their Atlanta office. They ask you mostly just behavioral questions, but throw a few critical thinking and market sizing curve balls in the 3 later rounds. After waiting much longer than they said and sending a follow up email (which I did not get a response to), I finally received a short, impersonal email that I did not get an offer. People are very nice, but I was a little annoyed with how they handled the end of the process.
Thank you for providing your feeback. Faster responses to our candidates is something we strive for. We will use your feedback to continue to make improvements there.
