Thank you for your review! A non-compete agreement is a very common practice in competitive industries, such as ours. We are very upfront with this in the interview process which allows each candidate to evaluate if the non-compete agreement is something they feel comfortable with prior to joining the organization. With our CRAs in particular we reward them not just with base compensation but with an opportunity to earn significant additional compensation tied directly to their travel and performance as well as the opportunity to earn Medpace equity awards very early in their career. And we must correct your misunderstanding regarding expenses. Travel expenses are reimbursed as a pay through and not as taxable income.
