At Medpace's invitation, I was flown in from out-of-state for the in-person interview. The process was pretty straightforward with a handful of 1:1 interviews. Strangely, I did not interview with the person who would eventually be my supervisor which made me feel as if the trip was a waste of my time. Worse yet, without telling me ahead of time, the company flat out refused to pay all of my travel expenses so I had to pay out of pocket more than $100 for airport parking, mileage and tolls for the "privilege" of interviewing with them. Their excuse was that they usually recruit from areas within driving distance to Cincinnati and that having to fly me in for the interview was more than they typically like to spend. In short, the company is very cheap and unprofessional.
