Interview
The whole process from applying till rejection lasted 3 months. I did about 40+ hours of work for them during that time, as part of the "audition". Got paid 25 usd an hour for it, which is pretty low. Got to the last interview with the CTO, who was incredibly uninterested and boorish. It was apparent they'd already decided to not hire me. Felt like they just wanted lots of candidates to do work for them for a really low price, without the intention of ever hiring them. Which is probably why it took 3 months for the whole process to finish. The CTO even mentioned in the interview that open source was great, since they make "lots of money" from people who "contribute for free". Which is, of course, not what open source was meant for. I would think twice before applying here!
Good communication. I received a response in couple of days, sometimes hours through the process in every of the stages.
Constructive feedback on reason for not getting the position by the actual technical interviewer which I found very appealing.
