I was referred by an employee for the Software Engineer -- Server (New Grad) position. There are two rounds of technical phone interviews and an onsite interview.
The phone interviews focused on fundamental CS knowledge including database, operating system, C++ and easy coding problems. The onsite interview has eight rounds including basic CS knowledge, object-oriented design, system design and QA. I'm a master student in computer science and I didn't expect system design and QA problems. However, the interviewers are very nice and they discussed the problems with me and guided me to approach the correct answers.
I have interviewed with more than 30 companies and this experience is one of the best. People are so nice and friendly. In the beginning of the first interview, the manager asked me how to pronounce my name. It made me feel much respected. I strongly recommend you to interview with MarkLogic!
Oh, I forgot to mention that in the onsite interview, there's a lunch round which focused on your Resume, backgrounds and behavior questions.
