Had a really great interview and was told that I’d be going in for an in person interview some time after the holidays, but when I followed up, I received no response.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Mack Weldon
Interview
The process was very thorough and quite long, but communication was good throughout. Interviewed for one position and didn't end up getting it. Was offered to interview for another role available and that process was a little out the ordinary and steps kept being added. It was like once you got to the finish line, they moved it again. Overall the experience was ok, I think the process can be cut in half, there really is no reason to meet with 5+ team members, the CEO, and do a project to prove you can handle the job functions.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mack Weldon (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a staffing agency (Tangerine) that came on hot and heavy. I interviewed with them, then the CEO. It was an awkward interview; it quickly became clear that they didn't know what they were looking for and were unsure of how a CD would fit into their company. I never heard back from the staffing agency or Mack Weldon, which is truly bad form, especially at this role level.

Question 1
The questions were mostly about which men's brands I admired.
