I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MEDSHAPE SOLUTIONS
Interview
Met with 6 or so different employees and they just asked me about my resume and what I was looking for. One guy was weird and asked "quirky" questions like to tell him a joke which is annoying. Gave me a tour of their company. Only 10 minutes from Georgia Tech which was nice. Was surprisingly competitive since they're such a small company they can only hire like one person who applied this semester. Good place if you want to work for a small startup company with a very casual and flexible environment.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MEDSHAPE SOLUTIONS (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Got an email within a week of applying to interview. The interview was very relaxed and wore business casual clothes. The hiring woman was very outgoing and relaxed and just really wanted help with operations. I was able to meet the CEO, CFO, and HR representatives also to talk about the business.
I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MEDSHAPE SOLUTIONS (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
I submitted my resume and cover letter for the job posting through Georgia Tech's career services portal. About a week after the submission deadline, I received a phone call for an interview. I interviewed within the week on a Tuesday. I received an offer for the position on Friday late afternoon, again by phone. The interview itself was 5 30-minute interviews that were 1:1 with the R&D and operations engineers. All of them were behavioral but one. Interviews took place at the MedShape office.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The case question was the most difficult and unexpected. They basically describe one of the devices that the company is working on, and which qualities and principles you would take into consideration when designing the device.
