I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (New York, NY) in Apr 2019
Interview
Got a phone interview from a referral. It went well and they asked a lot of basic questions just to get to know your background a bit. Had a quick takehome exercise and then after receiving good feedback, moved onto the onsite interview. The onsite was long, 2 hrs total meeting with four different RCs and Recruiters for 30 min each. Everyone was really welcoming and nice and although I didn’t get the position, I really appreciated their feedback and willingness to keep me in the loop at all times. Seems like a great place to work.

Interview
Initial recruiter call, take home assignment, and then panel interviews that included a live scheduling activity, and a few 1:1s with various potential stakeholders that focused on partnerships, customer experience, and problem solving.

- How do you manage a difficult partnership? - "Tell me about a time when" - How would go go about fixing x mistake?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
There was one thirty-minute phone interview with a contract recruiter and four back-to-back in-person interviews with the hiring team that consisted of scheduling exercises and situational questions. One of them was with the hiring manager and most were with potential peers.
I applied online and received an initial interview offer within a couple of days. The recruiter requested to reschedule on short notice (2 hours before the interview) and I happily accommodated a new time. Not sure why the recruiter had a very defensive attitude, asked irrelevant questions, and just seemed disinterested in the candidate's qualifications or work experience. Didn't even ask about my previous experience with recruiting specifically or why I chose to apply to the company. I probably asked the recruiter more questions about their experience and the company culture than they asked me. Just looks highly unprofessional on the company's end.
