Interview
I never head back after 3 rounds of interviews. I started the interview process with Lumen in August 2023. The whole process took 6 weeks, from an HR phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager and a panel interview. Everyone was very friendly and provided valuable insights about the role and the expectations. However, two weeks after the final round of interviews, they went radio silent. I have not received any follow-up from anyone at the company. It seems like there were recent layoffs and my emails to the team started to bounce. I'm unsure about the status of my application and it would have been nice if someone communicated any updates or decisions about my candidacy.

Video screening was a great experience. I see why it was used. You were asked questions and given multiple opportunities to answer, review, and record. There were practice questions before the 3 actual questions.

After applying I received an email prompting me to complete a video recording of me answering questions, along with playing some games to analyze my personality. I spent 4 hours prepping for the question portion of the interview and never received a response from a human being.
