CenturyLink uses a temporary agency to hire their employees. You apply, and than you are sent an assessment that tests how you do under pressure. Best to answer each question correctly, as you are scored on the number correct, not the number done.

I applied for the at-home position. It did not take long to hear back (2-3 weeks tops I believe). Day one if you have time you have three tests to take. Mostly they want to test your accuracy, typing speed, test your communication skills and decision making skills. Make sure you have a quiet place to test as you will need to listen, not just read.

The simulation interview was simple, however make sure you listen very carefully because it will say account numbers very very quickly you must be able to type accurately at a fast pace.
