      Sales Development Representative Interview

      20 Jan 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lessonly in Dec 2021

      Interview

The interview process started with a phone screen where the process, company, and role was described in detail and I was able to get general questions answered. From there I completed a written assignment and had a zoom interview with two SDR Managers who were to go more into detail about the role and showcased how passionate they were both about Lessonly and about the role and team. From there I had a final interview with 8 people from a variety of positions within both Lessonly and Seismic. I did notice that an hour before my final interviews that the role I was about the interview for had been reposted to LinkedIn and probably should have seen the foreshadowing of what that implied but I did have beneficial conversations about their current projects and what they were looking for in a candidate. About a week later I received an email that I did not get the role .

      Sales Development Representative Interview

      21 Oct 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Lessonly

      Interview

I had 2 phone interviews. 1 with just a recruiter and 1 with the sales development manager. I am disappointed because I KNOW both of my phone calls went extremely well as they were just conversational and I asked a lot of questions about the company, the role, etc. they told me they would let me know in a week if I would move onto the next round of interviews . It has been a month now and never heard anything. Luckily I have found an opportunity and accepted at a different company- but this just goes to show how unprofessional companies can be. Even if you are not moving on with the candidate you MUST let them know. To just leave someone hanging and Ignore them after they took time out of their busy schedules (and I even had to take a half day at work to do these phone interviews) is extremely rude.
