A recruiter reached out to me via Linkedin. After a couple of messages, we agreed to have a call. She scheduled the call 3 days later with only 20 min notice - thankfully I was able to join, and she was 10 min late. We discussed expectations for the role and salary, everything seemed to be a fit, so she mentioned she'd chat with the hiring manager. Afterwards, and in order to move forward in the process, she asked me to apply officially through their link (which she sent me the wrong one twice). After applying... nothing, until I got an automatic "we're not interested" message. Mind you, all the information in my application was shared beforehand with the recruiter, so nothing was new. Furthermore, I find it extremely frustrating that the recruiter didn't even bother to send a message herself, when she had been emailing me the previous week. Really negative experience overall.
