You go in and they give you a form to fill out and take back. it includes past experience, education, you qualities etc. your then called in to do a short test mostly to do with simple calculations so they know you have a good understanding for the till and working things out for the home department. you are also asked about the form you filled out as they go into more detail on your skills

Applied online, recieved a phone call and was brought into store. The whole process took around 3 weeks, and was very pleasant. Very relaxed and was made to feel comfortable.

I have heard from a number of sources that employees are treated badly, low salary, too much pressure - high expectations from management. Pay appears to be below what they should be paying for such detailed work

I was given a timed maths test to do on the shop floor before the interview. You were allowed to use a calculator. After that I was taken into the office by a Senior Sales Assistant and interviewed.
