For a donut store I thought the interview process was very convoluted and involved role play, group scenarios and one on one interviews. It seemed a bit over the top just for such a simple product as a donut

They will initially look at your cv, and go through previous experience. They will ask what your favourite doughnut is; your strengths and weaknesses and a time you worked as a group. You may also be asked to do a trial shift on the day serving customers.

Very relaxed and easygoing vibe. Nice manager and made me feel comfortable. Lasted about 15 minutes, just asking questions about you and how you'd get along with the team members.
