Interview
I already had a job in the consumer electronics department where that interview was a group based interview to see how you work within a group, they asked us prior to the interview to bring in a technical item and then asked us to show how we would demonstrate it to consumers. We were then asked other customer based interview questions. For the technical support role this was an individual interview where a lot of the scenarios were based around how to diffuse customer complaints and ways of working.

Question 1
A customer has a faulty item which has to go for repair which they are not pleased about. How do you diffuse the situation and support the customer?
Straightforward. Generic questions about you, your skills, and how you would handle technical situations. I was given 4 scenarios and 30 minutes to come up with resolutions for them before presenting them back to my interviewer.
