    Phone screen first then second interview in person with 2 employees from other branch in Iowa and the second in person with the staff in San Francisco office. The phone screen took about 20 minutes and in person interview took about 2 hours

    Interview

    Initial phone interview was great, and took less than 30 minutes. I received a face-to-face with John Deere Staff that lasted about an 1 hour. John Deere Staff were personable and I felt confident leaving the interview. It was a group interview.

    The manager and the tech lead mostly wanted to know about my experiences. It was a casual conversation where they were mostly trying gauge my interests and background. Everyone was very nice and the process lasted about half a day.
    Got to meet the rest of the team. Heard back in three-four days.

    Straight-forward. Had two rounds of interviews all of which were behavioral. The second round is at Headquarters where they are super accommodating and you have multiple rounds of behavioral interviews. Turnover time for decisions was really quick.

    Deere does a phone screen by an HR rep and the on site interview is Behavioral. They use the STAR technique. Very little time was spent reviewing my background directly. They wanted to ascertain my abilities through the answers to the scripted questions.
