      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jabian Consulting (Atlanta, GA) in May 2017

      Interview

I was contacted by a Recruiter on LinkedIn. Spoke to recruiter over phone and met in person in the Atlanta office. Then moved onto a panel interview with two Jabian people. Pretty straight forward with some skills and behavioral questions. The last interview was with the Founding Partners. I read all the reviews about the role play scenario and prepared for the Company A and B merger. But they gave me a different scenario about a telco undergoing a large transformation within operation and IT. I had a list of a lot of questions that did not apply to this scenario and I got all off. It made me nervous and I did not perform well.

      Question 1

A large telecom is undergoing significant change within their operations and technology. They asked Jabian to come in to help them manage the efforts.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Jabian Consulting (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2020

      Interview

Phenomenal. This was by far the most well-thought-out, thorough, transparent interview process that I've ever been a part of. The Jabian team adopts a "Tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you told them" approach to their interview process. Yes, some of the questions asked between rounds are repetitive; yes, some of the rounds can be quite a bit spaced out; yes, you will likely be hired onto their bench before you join full-time. They tell you these things, and you can read them in other reviews here. Zero surprises. This firm cares a lot about WHO you are and why you care about the things you do. They don't want a cookie-cutter consultant; they want people that are genuinely invested in their organization, the communities they work in, and their people. You will complete a phone screen, a 1:1 with a recruiter, a panel with two consultants in one of your top priority offices, then a final interview with a founding partner and two senior leaders in your selected office. Between rounds, you will have the opportunity to network with consultants in other offices, and they'll share Jabian news updates with you as well. Before my final round interview, I reached out to the two consultants who interviewed me for my panel. They provided excellent context for what to expect, on relatively short notice, and cheered me on! I really appreciated the HR team. They kept me informed, stayed connected, were in touch but never too much. I always knew where I stood, and there were no tricks! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Jabian team and the fantastic community of consultants that I met along my journey. This was by far the most straightforward, transparent, and most supportive recruitment process I have ever been a part of.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Jabian Consulting (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Contacted the recruiter through linkedin upon seeing the job posting. I was then contacted by HR and phone screened. After that I spoke with a Director in the Dallas office for 15 minutes, nothing major. The 3rd round was an in-person panel by 2 senior staff at their Dallas office. The questions were behavioral and about experience. Didn't end up proceeding because "my skills weren't a fit for upcoming projects."
