I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Aug 2009
Interview
contacted by recruiter, did a phone screening, then a phone interview and lastly a face to face interview before i got the offer. it was very basic questions. really emphasize that you want to sell products and services and dont mind being micro managed. they do weekly one on one coaching on sales behaviors and they want to make sure their prospects are aware of that. also, they might make you role play during the interview, and give you a scenario where they will ask you to sell them something, humor them and play along.
Easy chat, not much technical questions. More competency questions. The desk emailed me directly for the interview. No HR involved. Got the interview relatively quick after I applied, but they took ages to reply
Spoke to the line manager and his boss (the managing director). Interviewers were very friendly and process was smooth. No interviews with the human resources team. Interviews were done via zoom and took about 45 min each.
