      Fraud Analyst Interview

      26 Aug 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Tacoma, WA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Internet Identity (Tacoma, WA) in Jun 2011

      Interview

The Interview Process is not at all expedited with this company; you interview with two people in management at least 4 times. You are given an article to review and a report to submit re: your opinion of the article; which is such a vague direction that I was really surprised I was asked for a 3rd interview. I managed to go thorough all 4 rounds; waiting at least a week between interview rounds; and thus I met every member of the Fraud Analyst Management Team. Interviews are conducted in the conference room and I sat at a long black table with just two people, each with a notebook computer in front of them and they would take turns asking a question....then typing notes re: my answer.....it was very uncomfortable; and the silence was very awkward. I was never "put at ease" and there are no "conversation questions" that might make the interview exchange more pleasant. I was advised during one of the rounds to send an e-mail if I think of any questions and I would receive a reply. So I did; and never received even so much as a thank you for taking the initiative to illustrate my interest and never had any questions answered with a reply. I was not offered the job initially following my interviews; however my resume was kept on file and 6 months later I was sent a e-mail asking if I was still looking for work. I had a phone interview and was offered the job 7 months after my initial interview.

      Question 1

I do not remember the exact way it was asked but they inquired about my opinion and any potential offense I had to pornography.

      Fraud Analyst Interview

      25 Oct 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Tacoma, WA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Internet Identity (Tacoma, WA) in Aug 2009

      Interview

Apply for an add on Monster or Craig's List that looks like it's from a Nigerian 419 scammer. Go into an interview where you stare across a table at two people who do two things: 1. Patronize you while asking questions regarding how much you know about "com-put-ers" and the "in-ter-net" 2. Try and professionally (read: refrain from giggling) gauge your reaction to what can only be described as "surprise pornography". They'll then send you home with an article from 2003 talking about some information not relevant to the job and ask you to write "what you think". One can assume this is to see how well you write/communicate. However, these skills are not used in the job and are, in fact, frowned upon. If they like what you wrote (IE: Did they get an A on the report you wrote for them) they'll send you an email telling you when to start and what your first day of training is.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

"How do you feel about... um... adult material that you might see on the job like this."
