First-stage telephone interview was a pleasant enough experience with a friendly interviewer who seemed enthusiastic about my interest in the role. The same unfortunately could not be said about the second-stage 'virtual onsite' with the hiring manager, who did not appear to be totally engaged in our conversation and was distracted by calls from colleagues mid-interview.
At the end of the interview I was told I would 'definitely hear back'... almost 2 months on, rather predictably I haven't heard back despite sending a follow-up politely asking for an update. After agreeing to schedule interviews at unsociable European times to fit in with the working hours of Insurity's US employees this was a disappointing experience that at times lacked professionalism, and sadly has not given me a positive impression of the business.
