7 separate interviews. None were combined, no panel interviews, even after speaking with the recruiter and the hiring manager. I was told this is per the companies internal processes.
Know, that going upfront, it is a very large time investment on your end as the person being interviewed.
During one of my late-stage interviews, I asked about the companies’s mission and values and what they had noted as changing – since I saw this person had been employed there for 5+ years and the company recently had two C- suite transitions in the past six months. I teed it up noting that I had done research on the company, and for example, on glass door here, some of the ratings of the company are less than positive, and then again mentioning the change in recent leadership to leave things in a positive light for them to build their answer off of how things are hopefully improving, etc.
To me, this is an important question as somebody who is deciding if I want to go to this company, but I could tell they were visibly upset by my question. Even answered a bit defensively.
I believe their recruitment team is using auto AI replies and initial email generation, which is disheartening for a candidate who has made it this far. I received the same email from a recruiter twice with a two week period in between regarding a status update on next steps.
I hope this helps someone else who is looking for insight on the interview process.
