2 coding interviews - simple coding exercise that became quite difficult with added constraints - write a log aggregator that will take a log line and returns the most used verb (GET/PUT/POST/DELETE) in the 5 minute interval 2 Project Deep dives - how would you redesigned the system you had designed but with extra constraints (interviewer added bunch of new constraints for my old project) - project deep dive with questions on why each key decision was made and what were the challenges with building the system

1st round - Take home online assessment. The company took more than a month to get back with the result. The eventual result was to proceed to next round. 2nd round - Technical Screen with Senior Staff Engineer from a different team. I was informed that this round would go over the take-home assignment. On the contrary, this round involved generic verbal computer science and my background-related questions. The interviewer was very rude and disrespectful. 1. He never introduced himself. 2. Dissed me whenever I asked him clarifying questions or asked him to repeat. He said, "I already said that, did you not hear?". The questions he asked were verbal and not written. He was non native English speaker and it was hard to comprehend. Also, he made some other unnecessary personal remark about my comprehension skills. 3. Questioned why I was looking away from the screen, twice. I clarified that I was using an external monitor for display and was trying to look into the webcam to maintain eye contact. I offered to disconnect it. Funny enough, he too was looking at multiple screens and sipping his coffee.
