Applied online and interviewed through HireVue. Recorded answers to questions without being able to go back to a previous question. Each question had a time limit between 3-5 minutes with about 1-2 minutes to prep each answer. Interview took about 45 minutes in total and was very straightforward. Did not hear back from Illumina after completing the interview.

Several interviews (5 I believe), scheduled over a few days. Nice people and the process was pretty smooth. It was all done over zoom which can make things a little trickier.

1on1 interviews with HR, Hiring manager, 4 IC engineers, and 1 director. Conversations were a blend of technical and personality. The engineers were all mechanical engineers and differed between fluids and mechanics as SMEs
