I recently appeared for a Technical Analyst interview, which involved multiple rounds assessing both my technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Initial Screening: The process started with an HR round where they evaluated my background, resume, and motivation for applying to the role. They asked about my previous projects, technical skills, and career aspirations.
Aptitude & Logical Reasoning Test: This round included pattern recognition, data interpretation, and problem-solving questions to assess my analytical abilities.
Technical Round: I was tested on SQL, Excel, data analytics, and programming concepts. The interviewer asked me to write complex SQL queries, perform data manipulation in Excel, and analyze datasets to extract insights. They also asked scenario-based questions related to data processing and automation.
Case Study & Problem-Solving: In this round, I was given a real-world business problem where I had to analyze data trends, suggest solutions, and present my approach logically. The focus was on data-driven decision-making and critical thinking.
Final HR & Behavioral Round: This round focused on my communication skills, leadership experience, and ability to handle real-world challenges. I was asked about situations where I demonstrated problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making.
Overall, the interview was a great learning experience, testing my technical, analytical, and communication skills comprehensively.
