      Business Analyst Interview

      13 Dec 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Philadelphia, PA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at ICON (Philadelphia, PA)

      Interview

The recruiter at this company is very unprofessional. Recruiting process is extremely disorganized with lack of follow-up. In interviewing with more than 20 firms, this was the most unprofessional and unpleasant recruiting process. It took more than one month for the recruiter to give me an update, and I needed to send a reminder email to her. If I did not send the reminder email, I doubt the recruiter would have gotten back to me. The final round interview involved two case interviews with consultants and one fit interview with director. Case interviews are standard and nothing out of the ordinary.

      Business Analyst Interview

      8 Jul 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 10 months. I interviewed at ICON (Dublin, Dublin) in Sept 2019

      Interview

The entire process took too long almost a year. Was doing a consulting capstone project with this company so knew the business well. Was interviewing for a Dublin based role. The company had months of radio silence between each step which was extremely unprofessional. Had a round with the HR and then the hiring manager. Was told in the interview to expect the offer letter. Then was informed by HR that they decided to move the role to Texas suddenly so they asked to apply for another role and go through that process again. Unbelievably unprofessional. This is for a candidate who closely worked with the CIO and CTO for months on the same project before the application process started. They were happy to waste a year in the hiring process and feeling sorry for what the other candidates who applied without any connection would have gone through.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The nature of work done in the consulting project and the recommendations. The main areas that the company should be immediately focusing on.
