I applied online. I interviewed at Humana (Irving, TX) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied online and received a call from HR for a phone interview. The Interview with HR went well. HR then scheduled 2nd phone interview with the hiring manager, VP of IT. The hiring manager didn’t call at the scheduled time so I called HR. HR re-scheduled the phone interview with the hiring manager. I waited for another week but it was no call from the hiring manager. I reached out to HR and let them know what was happened. HR told me that they would find out the season why the hiring manager didn’t call. A week later, I was informed that the position was filled internally.
The whole thing was a joke.
Screening interview invite that was recorded and automated. Typical expected questions though took getting used to talking to self on recording with no feedback.
Fingers crossed. Sounds like there are several rounds of interviews and much different than clinical interviews.

Interview
An AI-generated screening interview from the human resources office came to me via email; however, on the day of my interview, no one joined the call. I prepared a great deal for the interview, so I was highly disappointed. After reaching out to HR and the HR POC I was originally supposed to meet with, I finally secured an interview time, participated in a screening, and was invited to participate in one more discussion. In the end, I wasn't chosen to go beyond that, which is fine. Falling between the cracks so early in the process doesn't give you a very good impression of the company. I tried to stay positive, but not sure I would be interested in interviewing with them again.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Humana (Detroit, MI) in Sept 2025
Interview
Overall, a positive experience. They were communicative from the beginning and notified me 3 weeks following the first round interview that they decided to purse another candidate. Although I had high hopes, I'm glad that they respected my time and provided closure on how they were moving forward.
Upon submitting my application, they reached out about responding to 7 pre-text based interview questions. Following that, the recruiter reached out to conduct an initial screening, and then I completed a first round interview. I was initially notified that there would be a second round, but I didn't advance to that.
