First spoke with human resources via phone. I then spoke with a senior associate via phone. I then came into the office for interview with two partners. I took an Excel test and prepared writing sample.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HealthCare Appraisers (Denver, CO) in May 2019
Interview
Involved a few phone interviews followed by a case study. Then a visit to the office for an excel project and presentation. Was a very strange environment that I would not recommend anyone to do.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HealthCare Appraisers (Denver, CO) in Dec 2021
Interview
Long process with many stages, including a case study. Prepare for very little communication. I had to constantly follow up after different interviews and if I hadn’t, I doubt I would’ve heard anything. For a job that has such a poor salary, the interview process is a joke. I have nothing against being rejected for a job, but would be nice to be told that you’re no longer up for consideration instead of being ghosted after explicitly being told that I would be informed even if I did not get the job. I understand candidates can get lost in bigger companies, but it really is no excuse for a company of this size.

Many questions around valuation and accounting. Some Excel / VBA questions.
