I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at H&M (Glasgow, Scotland) in Sept 2017
Interview
Very quick interview to hiring process. Applied online on Sunday; got an email on Monday to attend group interview; interview took place on Thursday; got hired on Friday.
At the group interview there were roughly 8/9 of us. Took place in a small office and we all sat around a table. We did some icebreakers; Got asked some basic retail questions, quizzed on facts about the company, and some scenarios (anyone was allowed to answer the questions but it helps if you're not sitting there in silence as they want to see how you respond in a group); We were each a slip with a brief description of a customer and sent onto the shop floor to match them with an outfit then returned to the office with the outfits to discuss them with the group; After that 1:1 on interviews took place and the questions were pretty much similar to the ones we did in the group interview. Nothing too challenging. For my first proper job interview (since McDonalds interview doesn't really count as an interview lol) I couldn't have asked for anything more and I'm glad it was with H&M.

It was a group interview. They asked us about fashion and what we know about H&M and it’s background. We also had a task in groups to come up with good answers to the questions given, we also had to present.
It was a group interview, we did group tasks like styling people for different occasions and answering . It was pretty focused on the company values and if you have a love for fashion.
