Our goal is for our interview process to be as engaging and positive as possible, and it sounds like we missed the mark here. Typically, the first step in our process does not include having video on. This is in order to mimic a ‘phone screen’ before successful candidates would then move forward to the face-to-face interview stages; however, it sounds like this could have been more clearly communicated to you. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are forefront in how we build our product and how we show up in the work that we do; however, if that did not come across, we apologize.
