I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Apr 2012
Interview
HR call and then 45 mins phone interview , it was not based on my resume but general questions about Business Analysis .2) How will you build your food website ? what features will you add and how and what is its supporting architecture ?1) How will you build a patent system ?
The interview process was straightforward and professional. It began with a recruiter screening focused on my background, interest in the Business Analyst role, and general fit. The conversation then moved into my analytical experience, communication style, and how I approach ambiguous business problems.
Interview process is dumb. Honestly not worth the hype. Was done over the phone and the interviewer wasn’t even that friendly. I’m sure it’s a great fit for some people but I need something with more of a focused vision.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Feb 2026
