Interview took 2 hours, but it was super friendly.
it was being structured, rigorous, and multi-stage, designed to evaluate not just technical ability but also problem-solving, communication, and alignment with Google’s culture.

Question 1
Among 100 coins exactly 4 are fake. All genuine coins weigh the same, all fake coins too. A fake coin is lighter than a genuine coin. What is minimal number of weighings on balance scale needed to find at least one genuine coin?
It was a long process and I got up to about the 4th interview before they sent me a rejection letter. I was so tired of interviews at that point that I think it played a bit into it.
