I was actually contacted about this position after speaking with a different recruiter about a similar position. There was an initial phone conversation in which I was told there would be a HireVue video interview, a technical assignment that involved writing a simple app, and whether I was willing to complete. I agreed. I didn't receive any direction until two days later when he reached out saying his internet crashed and he couldn't get anything out to me, but had sent the HireVue. I mentioned that I hadn't received and he resent the next next day. I completed it, along with the simple app, which consisted of your choice of fetching and displaying data from either a Github or iTunes api in a TableView, in less than two days. I followed up a week later to see if my assignment had been received correctly, since I received no type of acknowledgement. Automated rejection email later that night.
