I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Genentech
Interview
Asked about lab experience, working in a team setting, and ability to follow standard operating procedures. Asked about clean room experience but was not required. Made sure I was aware I was signing up for 12 hour shifts.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if someone of higher title/experience than you shortcut the procedure? Would you say something? Or just follow along?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Genentech (Vacaville, CA) in Dec 2012
Interview
I had 4 different interviews. One was a panel consisting of 3 people in one room. Then, I was interviewed by one person from Cell Culture Manufacturing. After, I was interviewed by a supervisor from POG and finally by the supervisor from CMS. I was a little nervous because my recruiter only mentioned I was to be interviewed by one person, but I found out it would be 4 mini interviews from 7 people.
A lot of situational and behavioral questions. I had a 10 minute interview where i had to videotape my answers and then had a 30min interview with a panel of supervisors. It took a bit of time until they reached out to me
