Went through 3 stages of interviews. The final one being a case study about a problem the business was facing. I had to present to a panel and after everything was done they asked me to send them my deck and all my work. They ended up just closing the position after and not hiring anyone.
It definitely feels like they're just looking to get free consulting work which mirrors the other experiences posted here.

Interview
I recently accepted an offer for the Head of Sales & Business Development role and wanted to share a different perspective for those currently interviewing or considering the company.
Yes, the interview process was rigorous with multiple rounds, case studies, and stakeholder interviews, but I experienced it as fair and consistent with what one would expect for a senior leadership role. Every interaction gave me insight into the business, the team’s depth of knowledge, and the cultural priorities.
What stood out most was the intentionality: the leadership genuinely wanted to assess long-term fit, alignment with the company vision, and the ability to navigate a complex and evolving industry as we scale. That takes time in my opinion and, frankly, it should.
The culture here is refreshingly transparent. People are sharp, mission-aligned, and actively rally around the organization's growth goals. It’s still early days for me, but the team I’ve joined is one I’m proud to build with.
I recognize not every journey will feel the same, but I’m grateful for how this one has started.

Interview
Same experience as the previous reviews.
2 months and 5+ interviews… each round requiring hours of work of assessments, business cases, technical knowledge testing, presentations etc.
For the latter interviews, each time was a panel interview with several people in the room. For a company with about 30 people, this is more than 10% of the total productivity spent on each interview. When you multiply this with the rounds and people, it just doesn't make sense.
I have the same feeling that they used the interview process to get free or cheap consulting services as well. I checked their LinkedIn profile/page 3 and 4 weeks after my rejection to see if they actually added anyone. But no new faces. I can't imagine a salesperson without a LinkedIn profile or not updating his/her title. So, make your own judgement.
One thing I don't understand is why they would hire a hiring consultant for this if they never intended to actually hire. A scapegoat maybe. I hope the consultant got paid for whatever time and effort he put in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you approach the development of a sales method for the business?
Thank you for providing your feedback on your experience interviewing with our company. We appreciate the opportunity to respond. Many of these concerns are addressed in my response to the Feb 26, 2025 review, as it was for the same position, but we wanted to address some of your particular concerns.
We can confirm that we filled the role of Head of Sales and Business Development, the recruiter is a long-time partner with G2V and that he certainly did not work for free.
We appreciate the time you took to write this review. Please reach out to us directly if you have any questions or concerns and we would be happy to connect with you.
Take care.
