I had 2 x 15 minute interviews. The first one with hr and was super chill and basic questions. Like tell me about yourself, why fuse, why this role and explain a technical project and what I would do something different. Then got invite for 2nd interview with an operations analyst. The analyst themselves had just been in the company for 9 months. They asked me about a project I did. But the person kept stopping me in between to ask me questions which I didn’t personally like. I didn’t get the role as my motives didn’t match with the company
I applied online. I interviewed at Fuse Energy in Jun 2026
Interview
3 virtual interview rounds. Within the third round, they revealed that expectations were for a 60- 70-hour work week. No previous indication of this expectation. No salary guide was offered to see if compensation matched expectations.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fuse Energy in Jun 2026
Interview
Met with recruiter discussing company.
Met with engineer to do a system design session for a running app.
Met with engineer for coding screen which was leetcode hard.
Overall seems like a typical startup, but I wouldn’t recommend bothering with an interview unless you can easily complete leetcode hard problems in <30 minutes. Overall not worth your time otherwise.
