I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in May 2019
Interview
I was able to go through the whole interview process, which includes an HR phone screening call, a video call with a member of a team within the company, another video call with the hiring manager of the team, and then a video call with the VP that manages the team. They conducted a background check after the completion of the first video call with the team member. Afterwards, there was no communication until over 2 weeks later. Then when they went ahead with scheduling the next round of interviews, it took another 10 days to receive any further communication. The process took almost 3 months until they finally made an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask generic questions to understand your personality and 'fit' for the team like - why Fisher's? Talk more about yourself...
The interview process was long and involved multiple steps, starting with an initial phone screening to assess basic qualifications. This was followed by a technical assessment and two rounds of in-depth interviews, including a panel discussion with senior team members. After several weeks and a final interview with the hiring manager, the process concluded with reference checks before an offer was finally extended

What is one challenge you had to overcome, how did it change you?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2025
Interview
Good, quick, usual situational questions. Nothing out of the ordinary from them. Lasted about 45 minutes. Unsure if I was on the last interview or not but thought it was well operated.
It was a phone interview and the lady was nice, it took about 30 min and she just asked basic behavioral questions and questions about my work experience and what kind of companies I had applied for
