      Software Developer Interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at First Sports in Aug 2016

      Interview

I came in at 9:00. I left at around 12:00. Interview consisted of mainly 40 minutes of him describing (which was a lot) about what they do and how they do it. And then I had to talk through my C.V for a bit, answer around 15 or so technical questions on the spot. (You either know it or not..but they weren't too bad). Then after an honest discussion of my skills and what I had done he gave me a piece of paper and a code test which was on a sheet of paper. He told me he would give me 15 minutes to sketch out a design and a GUI for it before he would come back in the room. Then he went through his expected response and where I went wrong. But this code test is relatively simple to be honest, you just need time to process it.
