I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Orland Park, IL) in Jul 2025
Interview
1 hour long group interview, was told I would hear back in 1-2 weeks. Got a call 3.5 weeks later with an offer, told the Team I was still interviewing with other companies and would need a little time to get back to them. I was told the latest I could give them an answer would be 3 weeks. I went to go accept 2 weeks later- a week before the day they told me they needed a decision by and the Recruiter immediately texted me, telling me not to sign anything, locked me out of my account, and only then did they tell me they already started interviewing other candidates. On the third week they sent me the final offer letter telling me to sign it so I did, thinking I got the offer. Only to have the Recruiter text me a couple of hours later saying they are still considering other candidates, rescinded my offer and two weeks later let me know they gave the position to another candidate. Overall bad experience, poor communication and accountability from Fidelity, would interview with caution.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult customer, and how did you resolve the issue?
First a brief phone screening, and then I needed to schedule an in person interview. The phone screening was around 30 mins and the interview itself was about an hour.

The job description was nothing like what the said it was. They advertised it as hybrid when it was full time in office. Implied would be customer service when it was sales.
