I applied through university. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Oct 2012
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter from TX after a resume drop off A YEAR ago. We scheduled a time to have a further discussion on this job. Two days later, we had a 20 minutes informational phone interview. Basically, the recruiter walked me through the duties of this job as well as the starting salary which is $35000 flat + sponsorship for series 7 & 63. She said the second year usually will go up to around $38000. After that, she asked me a few questions regarding my resume. Because my position is to take inbound call and answer client's questions, so she was specially looking for my communication skills over the phone.

Question 1
Nothing technical, it was all about behavioral. Again, because of the nature of this job-taking inbound calls, they are looking for someone who can speak on the phone clearly and work on flexible hours
First a brief phone screening, and then I needed to schedule an in person interview. The phone screening was around 30 mins and the interview itself was about an hour.

The job description was nothing like what the said it was. They advertised it as hybrid when it was full time in office. Implied would be customer service when it was sales.
