The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Hong Kong) in Dec 2011
Interview
I got the interview from a job conference and was interviewed by a head manager from UK office. There are only 4 interns hired outside U.S office so the interview is so much technical. He asked me a lot about stocks trend, stock pitching and financial modeling questions. I was not well prepared for that so I kinda messed up withe the interview. It only took around 15 minutes.
Very quick move. First is hr screen which is normal and hr is sooooo nice and second round with vp and an asso, I felt I didn’t do well but still passes so I think u don’t need to be perfect. Final is two back to back, with 8 analyst asso and md. Stock pitch is being asked and market sense, not technical at all.
Hire vue first, was rejected after that. I believe next would have been a phone call and then another. Just be sure to have basic interview question answers down and be economical with time.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Jan 2016
Interview
After submitting online, I got the email invitation for phone interview. It was a 30 mins conversation with Portfolio manager. all typical questions. but she tried to know if you are passionate with investment and your knowledge about US market
