I applied through other source. I interviewed at Feridax (Halesowen, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process felt refreshingly informal whilst remaining well structured and purposeful throughout. Rather than focusing solely on assessing capability and experience, it created an opportunity for me to meet a broad range of stakeholders across the business and understand how I would work alongside them on a day-to-day basis. It allowed for open conversations around their experiences, current challenges, ways of working and expectations of the role, giving me a much richer understanding of both the business and where I could add value.
What stood out most was that the process felt genuinely two-way. It provided the business with the opportunity to assess cultural and technical fit, whilst equally allowing me to evaluate the people, environment and dynamics I would potentially be joining. The openness and transparency throughout created a positive candidate experience and built confidence in the organisation from the outset. It's an approach I would strongly recommend considering for future recruitment processes, particularly for roles that require high levels of collaboration and cross-functional working.

Question 1
If you joined tomorrow, what would you identify as the biggest short, medium and long-term challenges facing the business, and what would success look like in addressing each of them?
