I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FedEx (Hagerstown, MD) in Oct 2011
Interview
Referred by a friend. Attended interview day with a group lasted 4-5 hours filling out paperwork and facility walkthrough then told how to dress. Then a individual interview with a rep from human resources. Proceeded for about a week going over procedures, training and safety while at FedEx. Then spending another week or two going through training and advice to perform your job.

Question 1
Name a time you had to create a solution without conventional thinking?
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
