Though I'd only been in contact with the MC team supervisor, the interview was actually with the whole coding team. It was held conference style, with the supervisor asking a few general questions and each team member having prepared one or two questions. It was notable that none of them asked the traditional questions (tell us about yourself, etc) and since they had such specific questions it was easier to answer. After the interview portion, they gave me a skills test that had sections for general coding questions (mainly on guidelines), medication names and purposes, abbreviations, medical prefixes and suffixes, and medical terminology.
