    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at European Investment Bank (Luxembourg (Luxembourg)) in November 2014.

    Interview

Before being invited for interview, there were a couple of on-line verbal reasoning and personality tests which were done at home.

On the basis of these tests, the applicant is invited (or not) for interview.

The first part of the interview was a written test, effectively aimed at determining how the applicant can work under pressure, and how much they know about the subject area.

Another verbal reasoning test (on a computer) was also undertaken.

In all, the pre-interview work took two hours.

After this, there was a panel interview, who asked questions about the preceding test, and also on the CV.

    Interview

Two weeks after my application i received an invitation to conduct some online tests. Post this, i went for an onsite interview. I had spent days for my preparation , even i got days off from my work. I got informed 3 days before the interview that the role has changed. The interview was for a totally different role without giving sufficient feedback on the change. I askem them twice to explain why the role has changed. No answer was given. I understand transparency is quite low in EIB but as long as they exist due to EU , they should be more fair. I tried to escalate this matter but i have not got an answer. It looks like everyone covers each other in such a way not to loose their job.
I am.highly dismotivated for this institution
