I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies (Green Bay, WI) in Feb 2013
Interview
It will all depend on which department store you interview for, but I was hired through one of the Bon-Ton stores. I had five interviews, including Talent Plus, which everyone hired at Estee Lauder has to pass. That interview is the one that makes or break you getting the job, and it's a phone interview in which you're asked questions and you answer. There's no conversation between you and the interviewer. They're judging your personality and you must fall into three of their "categories". The other interviews are typical department store interviews about customer service. Estee Lauder is always looking for people, so those interviews are a piece of cake.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The whole Talent Plus thing was rather difficult. They asked obscure questions. But, no one gets asked the same questions.
I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies (London, England)

The interview process was well-structured and engaging. It provided a clear understanding of the role and company culture, making me feel valued and informed about expectations. Hi yes no hello
I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies (Belfast City Centre, Northern Ireland)
Interview
Video interview for basic overview, then in person. Offered the job on the spot subject to in store management decisions (which was fine) overall process was ok, relatively laid back and comfortable / straightforward
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies
Interview
Process took a bit longer than normal due to Covid 19 restrictions. Many of the employees got sick and they had to close the store due to coverage. Connected very well with the management and team.
