I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Emerson Croft (Lucknow) in Jun 2020
Interview
Wastage of time.
1. First round was an aptitude test link that took around an hour.
2. Second round was a call with their recruiter, in that call she asked some behavioural questions and a link to my work sample.
3. Third round was a coding test of 3 hours. That contains 4 data structure and algorithms questions and around 20 MCQ output based questions.
4. Fourth Round was a call with their team lead.
After clearing all these rounds they asked for expected salary and I told 3000 USD (3+ years of experience in JS) and then they directly sent a no-reply email that my expectations didn't meet their budget. After that I sent them a message by asking their budget to understand if I can fit in that budget but they didn't reply. Now you can understand after wasting 2 months and taking 4 rounds of interview they didn't even bother to negotiate the salary and you know the most funny thing is that they had asked about the expected salary in the application form.
I've read in their website that they give offer letter to only 1-2% candidates and I thought that they are finding best engineers but no they are finding cheapest engineers.
I don't understand that how 3000USD per month can be out of budget for a Silicon valley based company and also when they have 45hrs/week (usually it is 40hrs).
