Interview
The interview process for a freelance English-to-Indonesian translator at Elite Asia generally begins with a review of your resume and portfolio to assess your translation experience and language proficiency. Qualified candidates are then invited for a pre-test to evaluate translation accuracy, grammar, spelling, and familiarity with industry-specific terminology. This test might include content from chosen industries, such as legal, marketing, or healthcare, to assess adaptability across diverse fields. If successful, you may proceed to a virtual interview, where HR discusses your availability, daily translation capacity, familiarity with CAT tools, and any client-specific requirements.

Interview
After the interview I asked about the sick leave benefit for this remote position, as it was during the pandemic where everything was strict, but the interviewer didn't give clarity and instead was a bit offended because I asked about this sick leave benefit. Which was so odd.
A couple of days after the interview was conducted, I got the message on Whatsapp from one staff member asking whether I agreed with their package or not, I was confused because it was so unclear what they provided, so I replied the chat with some questions just wanted to be sure before agreeing and moving forward, but she never replied my chats at all until now
